Part two of Caurie & Jill's wedding photos! We loved shooting this same sex couple, their wedding was so much fun and getting to witness the love these two have for each other was amazing.
Caurie and Jill got married on August 6, 2016. Their ceremony took place at Quarry Lake Park in Canmore, Alberta and was absolutely beautiful!

Have you ever thought of throwing out all the conventional ideas of a ceremony and instead have a surprise wedding? Well, you are not alone. This is a trend that has been catching on with new couples that have a spice for life and want to do things differently.
It's sometimes hard to incorporate children into a wedding but once you figure out a way that suits you and your groom, the rest is smooth sailing (hopefully).
Bridesmaid dress shopping is a daunting task for any bride-to-be. To assume that all of your bridesmaids will look good in the same dress is a far cry from the truth, which is why we love the idea of having mismatched bridesmaid dresses. Now, that being said, every bride has to have some guidelines to keep her ladies in check.
Having children involved in a wedding gives it an adorable and innocent touch but it can be stressful at times; you never know what they will do when it comes down to that moment. Sometimes you just got to live on the edge and hope for the best!
In the midst of this crazy weather, I often catch myself gazing out the window and dreaming of my future engagement ring. This week we picked our top five Tiffany & Co. engagement rings that are swoon worthy. If you manage to get one of these bad boys on your finger, you are a lucky little lady and you should treat that man well! Get ready to be blown away!
Engagement photos are a keepsake that you and your partner will cherish for the rest of your lives. It's such a beautiful time to look back on when you are older, to remember the days of being young and in love, ready to commit your lives to one another and not letting anything stand in your way from being with the person you love. Sarina and I truly feel honoured when couples invite us into their lives to have an engagement shoot. There is something about it, the couples are oozing love and excitement and it is almost contagious! You can't help but smile when witnessing two people so in love and ready to make that leap of faith. We had the opportunity to photograph Julie-Ann and Greg this last January. They wanted to have a winter-themed engagement session since they are planning on getting married in Vegas this year. They brought along their adorable dogs, Franklin and Zoe, and the day was filled with laughter.
Sarina and I absolutely love the colour blue and the tradition of wearing it on your wedding day. It's so interesting to see what each bride decides to do with the long time tradition and we have highlighted our favourite ways of honouring the old English rhyme.
So the man of your dreams has finally popped the question and it’s time to start planning the big day. If you are like any other new bride, you are probably feeling overwhelmed entering the “wedding world” where everyone talks in the language of chiffon and cornelli. Hang in there, girl! Soon it will all become second nature to you, too. One of the first steps is alerting your guests with a save the date and wedding invitation. Which brings me to my next conundrum, to send out the e-invite or not?

Choosing a wedding cake is a difficult and delicious task for every bride and groom-to-be. There are so many aspects that go into choosing the perfect confectionary for your guests to enjoy on your wedding day. Since spring is just around the corner (hopefully), Sarina and I have picked a few of our favourite floral-inspired cakes this week!

Eloping has changed a lot since our parents days. Its not about sneaking off in the middle of the night with a guy your folks disapprove of. Eloping has become a lot more fun and a lot less frowned upon in 2015. Weddings have blown up into something absolutely colossal in today’s culture, but still more and more couples are choosing to elope. Choosing to elope doesn’t mean you have to miss out on all of the fun aspects of your wedding, it just keeps the ceremony simple, and what you choose to do afterwards is up to you and your groom.
