This one goes out to all of the lucky men out there who are about to marry the woman of their dreams. Now listen up, guys! We know that planning a wedding isn’t your ideal way to spend most of your days, but it means a lot to the woman who stands next to you, and for that reason alone, we’ve put together a list of duties that you should willingly be involved in (if not more!).
1. Picking Out Music
This should always be a couples decision, as the music shapes the entire mood and ambience of your ceremony and dinner. Whether it be the song your bride is walking down the aisle to, or the first dance, both partners should be enthusiastic about song selection.
2. Writing of Vows
This is your time to shine and really show the woman you love how you feel about her. I know this can be a scary task for some, but trust us, it will score you so many brownie points, you won’t know what to do with them all.
3. Seating Arrangements
This can be a stressful task for the bride-to-be, but with your help, it can go a lot smoother. Afterall, half of the people at the dinner are likely there because of you!
4. Planning Something Special for Your Bride
Women love to be spoiled. What better way to make her feel special than to plan a surprise on her wedding day. It doesn’t have to be huge, but something small that says I love you can make a nervous bride feel at ease.
5. Running Errands
If your bride asks you to pick up the groomsmen's suits, do it. If she needs something from the craft store at 8:30 at night for a DIY project, go get it for her. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but when you help out by doing the little things, it can keep your bride calm, happy and hopefully stress-free.
